“Without failure, I wouldn’t have learned anything” – Jason Harmon
Today, Joey and Jason get deep and personal as they place themselves under the microscope in order to delve into their own psyches, answering each other’s questions of life, growth, business and success.
Get to know “the real Joey and Jason” as they discuss their greatest life lessons, what makes them tick, what pisses them off, and the most gruelling question of them all – what is their big WHY?
Heading down the winding road of self-discovery, Joey and Jason explore the importance of failure in both personal life and in business. They debate the concept of being one’s own worst enemy, and how we must view failure as a positive entity, with the school of thought that failure demands growth, pushing us to take bigger chances in order to create a bigger impact. Which is what we are all ultimately after. Creating an impact.
When it comes to figuring out one’s personal mission, or as the boys call it “the big WHY”, the duo discuss their shared mission to make change for the better. Whether it’s in family life or in business, both agree on the importance of thinking big and improving the lives of others in some way. Jason muses, “by performing at very high level, I hope that I am able to have a positive impact and actually be able to change people’s lives”. Which happens to also be the same reason for the initial birth of the very podcast itself, The Grind.
